The advantages of the curved design are that towels are easier to hang over the towel radiator, and the curved shape provides a larger heating surface and therefore greater heat output. However, bear in mind that the curved design sits further from the wall and takes up more space. It is also considerably more complicated to manufacture, which affects the price.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eOur Sahara radiators are available in two operating modes:\u003cbr \/\u003e\nOne option is \u003cstrong\u003eelectric operation\u003c\/strong\u003e. In this case, an electric heating element is fitted into one of the connections and must be plugged into a socket. Depending on the model, our Sahara radiators already come with a heating element. This means you can also connect them as normal to the \u003cstrong\u003ehot water connection\u003c\/strong\u003e of your heating system. This dual-fuel operation is a feature of modern towel radiators.\u003cbr \/\u003e\n\u003cbr \/\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eThe advantage of electric operation\u003c\/strong\u003e:\u003cbr \/\u003e\nYou can enjoy a warm radiator and dry towels even in summer, when the heating system is usually switched off. The downside is the electricity cost incurred by the heating element.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr \/\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eCentre or side connection?\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr \/\u003e\nThe hot water has to flow in somewhere and then flow out again on one side. The connection you need depends on where your heating pipes run. If they have not yet been installed, we recommend a centre connection. These are generally more discreet and attractive.
