Notes on battery disposal
In connection with the sale of batteries or with the delivery of devices containing batteries, we are obliged to inform you of the following: You are legally obliged to return used batteries as end user. You can return used batteries, which we carry in our range as new batteries or free of charge to our dispatch warehouse (dispatch address). The symbols shown on the batteries have the following meaning:
The symbol of the crossed-out dustbin means that the battery must not be disposed of in household waste.
Cd = Battery contains more than 0.002 mass percent cadmium.
Pb = Battery contains more than 0.004% lead by weight.
Hg = battery contains more than 0.0005 mass percent of mercury.
Special features when selling starter batteries
In connection with the distribution of vehicle batteries, we are, if you are an end user according to § 10 BattG, obliged to charge a deposit per vehicle battery in
7.50 including VAT if you do not return a used vehicle battery at the time of purchase of a new vehicle battery.
The deposit is not included in the purchase price and is shown next to the final price on the item. If you return a used vehicle battery to us, we will refund the deposit in accordance with
§ 9 BattG as a new battery in our product range, we are obliged within the framework of the legal regulations to take it back free of charge and to return it to the
