For many, bathroom radiators are a functional necessity in the bathroom. They not only provide pleasant warmth, but also wonderfully warm, dry towels. The radiator therefore serves as a practical towel warmer and as a source of heat
Centre connection or side connection?
The connection you need depends on where your heating pipes run. If they have not been installed yet, we recommend a centre connection. This is usually more discreet and attractive. With our Sahara models, you also have a free choice. There are Sahara models with side connections as well as models with centre connections.
Shape matters: straight or curved?
Our Sahara models are available in straight and curved versions. The advantages of the curved design are that towels can be draped over the towel radiator more easily, and the curved shape provides a larger heating surface and greater heat output. However, please note that the curved version sits slightly further from the wall and therefore takes up more space. It is also considerably more complex to manufacture, which affects the price.
Our Sahara radiators are available in two operating modes:
On the one hand, there is electric operation. A heating element is inserted into one of the connections and must then be connected to a power socket. Depending on the model, our Sahara radiators already come with a heating element. This means that you can also connect them normally to the hot water connection of your heating system. This dual-fuel operation is a feature of modern towel radiators.
The advantage of electric operation:
If your heating system is switched off in summer, electric operation still lets you have dry, warm towels. Fit the heating element in just a few simple steps, plug it into the socket and you’re done. The drawback of electric operation is the electricity cost incurred by the heating element.
