Are you furnishing your bathroom or updating your fittings? For many people, bathroom radiators are an essential functional feature of the bathroom. They provide not only pleasant warmth, but also wonderfully warm, dry towels. So a bathroom radiator is no longer just a heat source; it also serves as a towel warmer.
Our Sahara range offers a huge selection of excellent radiators in different connection types, sizes, shapes and colours.
Shape matters: straight or curved?
Our Sahara models are available in straight and curved versions. The advantages of the curved design are that towels are easier to hang over the towel radiator, and the curved shape provides a larger heating surface and therefore greater heat output. However, bear in mind that the curved design sits further from the wall and takes up more space. It is also considerably more complicated to manufacture, which affects the price.
Our Sahara radiators are available in two operating modes:
One option is electric operation. In this case, an electric heating element is fitted into one of the connections and must be plugged into a socket. Depending on the model, our Sahara radiators already come with a heating element. This means you can also connect them as normal to the hot water connection of your heating system. This dual-fuel operation is a feature of modern towel radiators.
The advantage of electric operation:
You can enjoy a warm radiator and dry towels even in summer, when the heating system is usually switched off. The downside is the electricity cost incurred by the heating element.
Centre or side connection?
The hot water has to flow in somewhere and then flow out again on one side. The connection you need depends on where your heating pipes run. If they have not yet been installed, we recommend a centre connection. These are generally more discreet and attractive. Our Sahara models also give you free choice. We offer models with both side and centre connections.
