This classic woodworking tool may be getting on in years, but no other tool has been able to replace its functionality. By pulling in the direction of the body over the tree, you remove the bark in no time. The important thing here is that the drawknife is pulled, not pushed. This way, with a little muscle power, you can shape your timbers however you like.
