The unique firing process gives the wall-hung WC its special glaze, which not only protects the actual ceramic from everyday mishaps, but also allows water and thus limescale to roll off easily, so that dirt (and the associated bacteria and germs) have no chance of sticking.
The ceramic of the toilet is fired in a special process, which is the only way to provide the toilet with the so-called lotus effect, a major hygienic advantage. This virtually non-porous ceramic glaze is dirt-repellent and prevents the formation of germs wherever the toilet is glazed. However, it's not just the ceramic sanitary ware that has a first-class finish, but also the toilet seat, as this is not made of simple plastic, but of Duroplast and is therefore much more durable than pure plastic seats.
All you need to do is hold down the button on the connection between the lid and the toilet with both hands and pull upwards to easily remove the lid, which is more convenient for cleaning.
